(standing) Officer Reports

Reyna (MemCo): we have two new residents in 208 and 2 single bedrooms open, both need more time/consideration to fill.
Bernard (Kitchen Manager): things look good, fridges are clean. please keep bug zappers plugged in to keep flies out of the commons. Once we get final confirmation that the construction is complete, myself, Labor Czar and Corey will discuss bringing back Sunday evening meals, as well as making a group meal for everyone some.time next month. thanks to folks who have kept the commons clean!
Jamie (treasurer): nothing to report
Jess (grounds): purchased some hoses that we can use to do more watering, get folks for AM watering, as well as work on clearing out the beds to do a winter garden. i also want to procure some fresh compost to help with hydration in the soil as well; the oak is doing well, i cleared out some nightshade thats growing. i am also working on planting something for Paul.
Jill: i had talked to Karen about rules for planting stuff previously and she gave me contact info for someone to call about planting things in our front grass.
Serenity (Labor Czar): i have been putting together an updated labor chart and am waiting on emails from people to fill in spots. folks are welcome to cook in their units and serve folks out of there they can and it would still count (you just have to clean up after the food yourself).
Tara: i am interested and have questions; how do i notify folks that dinner is done?
Serenity: we have a mailing list over email, as well as a discord
Ivy: you should be on the mailing list, but you can also text.
Tara: okay, and do i use my own groceries?
Serenity: nope, we tend to have food in the commons for that.
Reyna: you can request stuff from the food buyer as well.
Tara: who is food buyer?
Serenity: Lottie in 104.
Ivy: requests go on the white board near the pantry in the commons, but im going to make sure lottie can access the food buyer email as another means of contacting
Toast (maintenance): Maintenance has a lot happening! We're getting a lot of projects done, and in process we went through budget a little more than though with plumbing emergencies. We are almost caught up on plumbing jobs, plumbers will be back Monday and possibly Tuesday also to help finish up a few units. We do have some smaller projects to complete this week so if you're on maintenance team for labor and want to do one let me (Toast) know and we'll find smaller job you can do.
The dryers are fixed, just please remember when doing laundry not to over flow the washer, takes less clothes than you think! When add too many causes the water pile up on the floor.
Working with David and our labor czar, who is doing a great job, to get our fix it list all done!

Ivy: not much to report, i have been helping labor streamline the process of refilling the labor schedule, as well as planning a new member orientation for either some time next month or early October depending on how long planning will take. more deets soon!
Bernard: question for grounds; do you have someone on grounds team who can do courtyard clean?
Jess: ive wanted to have someone do that, we need someone to clean trash as well as get rid of standing water to minimize mosquitoes
Serenity: Jess, Jill, Marina, and Lorenzo are on grounds.

Reyna: several officers need to get better about doing officer reports
Serenity: i will contact them, and get in touch with our bookkeeper about getting labor fines started soon.
