Wiki Updates

No updates.

Agenda Item 1

(Ryan Nill) The rules about when labor fines are due, “If a member receives one or more no-shows then a fine will be added to the members' dues for the next month. “and the timeline related to automatic member reviews and of no-shows do not line up.

If a member receives 8 or more no-shows in a month, 12 in two months, or 15 in three months, an automatic membership review of that member will be placed on the upcoming agenda by the Steward or another coordinator. This does not include no-shows that have been successfully disputed and recalled, or resolved within 30 days from reporting via make up labor (aka before it becomes a labor fine). Payment of labor fines does not resolve the no-show for the purposes of this procedure.

To meet the next month deadline, I propose we make the following changes.

No-shows If a member receives 8 or more no-shows in a month, 12 in two months, or 15 in three months, an automatic membership review of that member will be placed on the upcoming agenda by the Steward or another coordinator. This does not include no-shows that have been successfully disputed and recalled or resolved by the 25th day in the month after which labor was done. Payment of labor fines does not resolve the no-show for the purposes of this procedure.

Reporting By the 10th of each month, the labor czars must publish the following statistics on the email list and the commons.

Ryan: Please table my item. Going out of town for a week and I have work to do. Thanks.

Agenda Item 2

(Tesa) Requesting contract break in 30 days and $100 fee waiver.

Richard takes up the item.

Richard: This is one of the conflicts mentioned in the last minutes. I told her we have a history of accepting fee waiver requests when people give proper notice.

CQ: Should we let them know about charges against the deposit before granting this fee?

POI: It's unrelated. We can charge those after the inspection.

Concerns/amendments phase.

Item passes.

New business

Bike ride next Sunday morning! To Graffiti Park and then 21st St for brunch at 1. It's accessible to everyone and we have extra bikes. It's no-drop, meaning we won't leave anyone behind.

David: I want to remodel units or the commons. Open to ideas.

Hannah: Turning the yellow room into a maker space would be nice. I have a sewing machine without a place right now.

Corey: Would be nice to fix the door before putting expensive things next to it.
