+Richard, outgoing **maintenance**, incoming labor: I’m working on transitioning over, handing maintenance tasks to Beryl. I’m compiling a list of contractors we rely on. While we continue patching work on the roof and fascia, we might switch over to buying our own traps to quicken the turnaround. We can’t get many traps from ChemFree at once. If you see light through your front door, that’s also a problem we can deal with.

+POI: We need to deal with the pest problem. The smell in the walls is getting so bad I can’t run my AC. I don’t like paying rent increases while this problem stays unresolved.

+POI: We’ve had contractors with good reviews who come here and do nothing about this issue. It’s a nightmare to coordinate 40 people and their pets for an intense poison fumigation with a preparation process and living creatures out for a few hours. It’s not any member or coordinator’s fault.

+(Gardenia ) When KAF gets dropped off on sundays, a bulk of what gets delivered is taken to only a few folks' apartments before the rest of the co-op even gets a chance to look or take anything. how can we as a co-op help make sure the food brought is distributed fairly?
+Gardenia: I don’t know if the shipments are smaller or what, but I’ve noticed even a few hours after delivery there’s not much there. I recently helped put away the KAF order and a pretty large portion of stuff got set aside for one person. I know there are food-insecure people here and people who rely on KAF and other food here to feed themselves. Let’s talk about best practices.
+Bernard, kitchen: I’ve talked about hoarding before. If you’re boxing up a bunch of the delivery and taking it to one apartment every week, that’s shameful, that’s not fair to everyone else. There are people here who depend on this food. I just want to see it stop. Take what you need for a day, no more.
+Point of information: I have helped unload the food too. Sometimes we have a huge delivery and we’re urged to take food because it doesn’t fit in the fridges.
+Bernard: We want everyone to take a bag of food, not take a whole box.
+POI: This is taking without consideration that we’re talking about. Sometimes some people take an absurd amount of dinner too. That’s not cool. Take it closer to 8:30 or 9, then that helps DCU.

+POI: I don’t think so, but I’ve seen their behavior directly.
+POI: I’d like to set the precedent that we’ll notice and talk about this when it happens.
+POI: We should figure out a concrete way to make sure this doesn’t happen going forward.

+POI: Violating our co-op rules counts, I think. People should definitely talk to them face-to-face multiple times first.
+POI: Just clarifying directly what expectations exist around the food would be helpful. It can be messages or signs for everyone, or a reminder email from the Steward.
