| point 5 uncooperative behavoir of removing a posted member reveiw post, disrupting meetings. cory says if subjective to a member reveiw you are not to remove it, to ask steward to remove or fix it instead. leah responds that thought was ok to take down based on defacment and apologizes for it. states again that needs a clear reveiw of process of member review. bernard says he said not to take it down, why was still on the door. and remids no one should remove anything for community from the door. frog ask who defaced the review. reyna says at the meeting the was valid before redoing review docs. jeb ask if anymore need to speak on it. cory says that disrupting member reveiw at sosona was a tense enviroment and leah was arguing with sosona board member which lead to raised voices and took up extra time. leah responds that she didn't know was such negativity after said meeting. kate says regarding sosona meeting that was brought to the board the negativity of leahs actions at the meeting. jess asked for context about the meetings. told their was minutes for those meetings to read seperatley. cory says was aserious meeting and leahs actions were phsycial and loud voices was inappropeiate, especially as baord rep. leah responds didn't recall or intend to be inaapropriate. reyna says doesn't like statemnt that meetings get heated made by leah. bernard says leah was agressive at meetings that facilitator had to leave meeting themselves because of behavior. and that at previous member reveiw he too was loud once and saw that action was not acceptable. frog agrees with bernard and that previous behavoir is not justifications of actions. cory says that the no show write up was a shouting match, and disapproves of leahs comments on meeting. he gave personal comments about anger issue with leah after said meeting. leah responds that her activities were not appropiate. vote to extend meeting to 9:30, passes. frog says they facilitated the said meeting and frog and says seeking support to improve these behavoirs. quinn ask for calrification of email about what was said from cory to leah. leah responds doesn't remeber what was said. kate says tried to verify what was said at the meeting between the two and doesn't believe was a direct threat of evection. frog says that leah should take consequences of their actions. leah responds that she agrees. cory says he thinks leah takes conversations with people in colfict with her in a way that is not fair. leah responds she has moved past that meeting and feelings around it. frog says they keep hearing "heated moment" and sees a pattern of the behavior. leah responds that she tried to keep perspective and that thiings were brought up after she thought it was resolved, and that it's a pattern for her. frog says should be up to vitims if the matter is public or not, hence why the vote at this meeting tonight. leah responds that she agrees and felt harrassed overall. natalie says their was attempt at mediation over event that leah was left out of. leah responds that they were dependant on said event and didn't feel comfortable talking to others involved about it. bernard says leah stated the event happened months ago and should't be relevevant. and feels leah is'nt accepting resposibility. leah responds doesn't feel should be debated currently. and that she felt hurt at the time and apologized again. frog says brought up leah was seen as difficult to confront and provided examples including emails and mediation between serinity and frog. leah responds that she remebers said meeting differently and coreccted what she thought. voted to extend to 9:45 and passed. leahs final words that this is eye opening and feeling isoliated and confused didn't bring out the best in them. acknowledges her mistakes and actions and apologizes. leah is asked to leave for discussion about them. jeb says options are to do nothing, have a behavior contract made, or evict and non member. cory says that there is a patteren of behavior over the year, and actions and behavior recently of good behavior do not make right the previous actions. frog says last statement said by leah was just deflection on leahs part. and that even if their is acommentment to change, the pattern stands and could possibly cause more harm in community and organization. kate says clarifying that even though colby and leah are moving out, leah is still a board rep and leah wants to stay on as an associate member even though moving out. joy says the pattern of deflection, denying onleahs part shows she isn't a safe member to have around. quinn asked natalie if she wanted to coninue iwth community, natalie says yes. quinn points out that no consent sexual activity is unacceptable behavior and rude to natalie if leah stays. colby says discussed with leah about staying on board, leah wishes to stay on the board. colby says co-op is not right place for leah right now. ivy says ethicaly leah should not remain on board for hardships would create for other board members. cory says how we vote communicates our opinions to others outside the organiztion also. bernard says nothing was said about incidents until review was posted on the door, and doesn't think keeping leah as board rep will work out and will result in conflict. robbie says even if goal was to be kind to leah, facing consequences could be best for leah to move on. jeb ask anyone else has anything to say, no one does. straw poll asked for do nothing, 1 vote behavior contract 8 votes,eviction 18 votes. getting paper for votes. paper ballots were cast. bernard counts votes and frog counts votes. 17 yes, 3 no, 3 abstain bernard. frog has same count. eviction carries. |
