New officer terms start July 1st, which is soon. Be sure to coordinate with outgoing officers to make sure you’re set up with things you need. Get email access!

Colby, events: Round the world party can be postponed if we want. I want to gauge interest.

(Kaye Kunz) A couple things I wanted to check. Is there any way we can request that bathroom and kitchen cabinets can be replaced if they are crumbling? Also do we have a regular maintenance person to clean the AC vents?

Beryl: I’m the new maintenance coordinator, so you can talk to me. I’ll be replacing filters with David every three months. As far as cabinets and counters being replaced, it’s a triaging effort. There’s a lot of broken cabinets here.

Kaye: Could I help pay for upgrades?

Point of information: We do replace them if they’re hazardous. People have upgraded units with their own money before, but it’s about $10,000 a kitchen. Stainless steel shelving upgrades would require tile underneath and would cost a similar amount. We’ve looked into it.

Kaye: I could paint or contact paper it?

POI: Sure! Contact paper doesn’t work for long, though. Gluing or tacking laminate sheet, maybe.

Point of information: Please don’t think I’m a jerk if I no-show you. It’s to address an ongoing situation. I no-showed a number of people, including myself. Those fridges need to be WIPED DOWN in fridge clean labor & KAF labor.
